This retrofit aims to enhance the water quality of the pond, support local flora and fauna habitats, and improve the amenity of the surrounding passive open space.

We prepared a concept, functional, and detailed design for the wetland retrofit, focusing on achieving best practice water quality treatment standards. The project integrated a multi-disciplinary team, including landscape architects, structural engineers, ecologists, and site surveyors, all led by Alluvium.

The wetland retrofit is designed to not only enhance water quality but also provide valuable habitat for local wildlife and increase the recreational and aesthetic value of the area for the community. The project reflects a holistic approach to environmental management, blending ecological restoration with urban amenity improvements.
